Doug Lueder, Owner

Doug Lueder founded the Atlanta specialty catering company Gourmet Cafes in 1993, after successfully managing the coffee kiosk at the Woodruff Arts Center for many years. A graduate of the University of Tennessee School of Hospitality, Doug built Gourmet Cafes to become Atlanta’s leading specialty catering companies. Doug’s friendly and accommodating customer service, flexibility, and willingness to go the extra mile has made Gourmet Cafes a successful catering business for more than 20 years. Since 2006, Doug is also the CEO of Prosper Home Care, which provides home care services to senior citizens and people with disabilities and chronic illnesses.

Jessica Harlan joined Gourmet Cafes in 2015. A noted food writer and recipe developer, Jessica has written 6 cookbooks and regularly contributes articles about food and cooking to several websites and magazines. Her knowledge of food and hospitality has helped her expertly assist clients in their event planning, and she’s also known for her professionalism, attention to detail, and willingness to go the extra mile for clients. Jessica is a graduate of the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City.
